As séries da Fox se destacaram mais uma vez no People’s Choice Awards 2011, desta vez quem ganhou destaque foram “House” e “Glee”. “House” não só ganhou como a série favorita como levou mais duas estatuetas para os atores Hugh Laurie e Lisa Edelstein como Favotiros Ator e Atriz de Drama, enquanto a comédia “Glee” entregou uma vitória para Jane Lynch.
O evento que foi realizado no Nokia Theatre em 05 de janeiro em Los Angeles, Califórnia apresentou outros vencedores, Neil Patrick Harris ganhou como ator favorito de Série de Comédia por “How I Met Your Mother” e Conan O’Brien como o Apresentador de Talk Show Favorito. Este último afirmou em seu discurso: “Quando você está disputando com Oprah Winfrey, você não quer ganhar. Oprah estou muito, muito zangado.”
Laurie ganhou em seguida mais um prêmio como O Médico de Série Favorito, vencendo todos os concorrentes que eram em maioria da série “Grey’s Anatomy”. Embora o maior candidato a médico favorito não tenha levado, a participação especial  de Demi Lovato na série arrancou a estatueta de outras grandes participações como Britney Spears e Neil Patrick Harris ambos em “Glee”.
